First Wave

After a full year break, notthatbalai committee members were back for a discussion at the Lost Gen Space recently. We started the meeting with a short evaluation of last year’s art festival. Each coordinator provided a brief feedback on the event. Highlights included schedule time check, technicalities, screening and performance contents and some legal matters. The discussion was essential for future improvements in order to avoid repetition of the same mistakes.

A new documentation team has been formed not only to document the event but also the entire process of the production. The documentation consists of blogging on the net, video documentation, still pictures as well as voice recording.
Moving on, you must be wondering how the committee came about. Basically, the event is organized by a group of volunteers who are passionate about various forms of arts and culture. Each and every volunteer was assigned to a specific post based on the individual’s interest, experience and skills. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be apart of us just drop us an email! Our next meeting is scheduled on the 17th December. Each coordinator will be presenting his/her proposal then.
